Embrace Pantone’s Color of the Year With Peachy-Perfect Tile

Embrace Pantones Color of the Year with Peachy Perfect Tile

Ready to step into peachy perfection? When we saw Pantone’s 2024 color of the year, we couldn’t have been more excited. Peach Fuzz, which Pantone describes as “a velvety gentle peach whose all-embracing spirit enriches heart, mind, and body” is akin to one of our favorite glazes: Tumbleweed.

If you’re wondering how you can incorporate this soft and dreamy shade into your own space, we’re here to help! We’ve rounded up our top inspiration and design tips from some of our favorite peachy-hued projects.

Incorporate It Into a White Kitchen

Look no further than peaches and cream to see why peach and white work as an enduring, sweet color story. A backsplash of our sun-kissed Tumbleweed Ceramic Tile in a vertically stacked pattern adds a soft glow and the perfect amount of interest to the inviting all-white kitchen at Hoopes Vineyard’s guest house.

Create a Warm Wainscot

Love a traditional look with a twist? Try a classic tile wainscot in this inviting hue. Our timeless square shape in an offset pattern is absolutely showstopping in Tumbleweed, encasing the bathroom above with an air of calm. Bonus points if you pair it with a coordinating floor of Handpainted Tile!

Lay the Groundwork With a Peach Glow

Installing this soft shade underfoot sets the tone for a sweet and airy space. The gentle peach tones are understated yet impactful on the floor, particularly when applied to our 8” Hexagon Ceramic Tile (a popular shape for floors).

Go All In With a Counter-to-Ceiling Backsplash

We’re big fans of a counter-to-ceiling tile backsplash over here. The character that it adds to a space can’t be overstated, especially when you choose a color full of warmth like peach. The sun-kissed champagne kitchen backsplash above offers a blushing backdrop that’s perfect for entertaining.

Consider a Petite Row of Peach

Alternatively, a petite splash can leave a lasting impression too. There’s something to be said about the elegant restraint of a row of peach tile inserting a touch of color in an otherwise neutral space.

Reach for the Peach Stars

Our handmade specialty shapes are the perfect canvas for your favorite peach glaze color. In the welcoming kitchenette above, our stellar Star & Cross Tile emits a warm glow thanks to matte Tumbleweed applied from floor to ceiling.

Pair With a Contrasting Color

Peach looks magnificent with numerous colors and shades, but is a natural fit especially with blue. The complementary contrast of the minimalist Tumbleweed backsplash with a slate blue kitchen island in front of it above creates satisfying visual interest.

Create a Custom Tiled Counter

If you’re looking to use this color in a commercial setting, Kate’s Ice Cream in Portland, OR illustrates how to do so beautifully. The curved ice cream bar features three layers of supersweet peach shades, inviting customers to step right up and order their delectable plant-based desserts.
