Key Achievements in the 2024 Impact Report
B-Corp Recertification
We're proud to announce that we achieved a B Corp score of 127.7 in 2024, significantly higher than our previous 115.4 score issued in 2020 and a testament to our ongoing commitment to using business as a force for good. The median score for businesses who complete the assessment is currently 50.9.
Sustainability Initiatives
We see our environmental footprint as an opportunity for responsibility and innovation. In our Aromas factory, our rooftop solar array generated nearly 740,000 kWh of renewable energy in 2024, and our closed-loop systems helped us recycle more than 200,000 gallons of water. In Spokane, we built new lab and testing infrastructure, reduced material waste, and re-engineered kiln processes to lay the foundation for even more innovation ahead.
Community Engagement
Our second annual Day of Service saw nearly 100% participation from our teammates, contributing over 2,500 hours of volunteer time nationwide. We also donated tile to projects in 10 states and helped raise over $52,000 for our scholarship supporting Black women in architecture.
Product Innovation
In 2024, we expanded our offering with USA-made Glass Tile, crafted in our Spokane, WA factory. This is the only Glass Tile manufacturing operation at scale in the country. We're proud to be setting a new standard for USA-made Glass Tile and reaffirming our commitment to American craftsmanship.
Employee Development
Our people are the heart of Fireclay Tile. We enhanced our employee benefits and launched a new Total Rewards Statement to provide every teammate with a comprehensive, transparent view of their total compensation. We also saw recordable safety incidents decline for the third year in a row.
