Hey guys! Brittany Buscher here, one of Fireclay's Design Consultants...
Congratulations! You are now in the final stage of your tiling project. You have chosen the perfect tile, which has been installed and grouted…and now you just need to Seal the Deal! While Fireclay Tile does not supply setting materials, grout or sealers, we are always more than happy to guide you to find the perfect product to make sure your material will last a lifetime.
It is always a good idea to seal your tile and grout at the time of installation and every year after! The reason we suggest sealing your tile and grout is to avoid staining and any discoloration that might occur from harsh cleaners and water.

We highly recommend using the brand: DuPont / StoneTech. They offer many kinds of sealers (penetrating, surface, etc), which can be purchased through Laticrete.com or your local hardware store. Impregnating sealers seep into your grout joints and protect against water and oil-based stains, which is also suggested for our tiles that have crazing (crackle).
For further details on different sealer options and which is right for your specific tile and project location, please feel free to check out Laticrete’s website. Fireclay Tile's Design Consultants (aka The Dream Team) are also available anytime by phone or email and are ready to assist you in any way we can!
