Inspired by the classic hexagon silhouette, these reimagined hex tiles are elongated into a timeless shape for a fresh look. Picket is one of our larger specialty shapes and can be installed in three different patterns, which we're showing on today's blog!
Braided Pattern:
Our Picket in the braided pattern has quickly become an employee and client favorite. The organic look creates a soothing effect for both a floor or wall application.

The install above has a darker grout which highlights the pattern, if you want a softer look, choose a grout color slightly lighter than your chosen tile color:

Straight Set Horizontal:
We think that our Picket can be treated as an alternative to subway tile. Install it in a horizontal straight set for a look that feels classic, but with a twist. From residential to commercial spaces, the shape can find itself right at home in this pattern.

San Francisco's Dandelion Chocolate chose our Pickets in White Wash for their Ferry Building location:

Pickets look just as good in neutral colors as they do in more bold hues. Mister Jiu's, a new San Francisco restaurant opted for straight set Pickets in Adriatic Sea for their men's bathroom. This installation proves that you can use a large shape like this in a smaller space for a beautiful result.

Vertical Straight Set:
If you are working with more vertical space or want to create the illusion of more height, go for this shape in a vertical orientation.

Looking for a tile that could hold its own, designer Francesca Albertazzi, opted for Pickets to complement her forest green kitchen cabinets:
