Here’s how we bring your custom tile dreams to life:
Step 1: Initial Consultation
You’ll discuss your inspiration and vision, including desired colors and shapes, with your dedicated representative. Let your imagination run wild–we love a challenge! Once the details have been fleshed out, your rep will review your custom request with our production team to assess the feasibility of the custom design. If needed, we’ll schedule a design meeting between you, your rep, and our production team to finalize the details.
Step 2: Production of Custom Sample
Once our team has approved your custom design, we’ll begin working on it. This involves drafting detailed sketches or developing color samples, and ensuring every aspect of your design resonates with your initial vision with open communication along the way.
Step 3: Client Approval
Once your sample is complete, it’s sent to you for final approval so you can touch and see it in person. With your approval, we move forward with the full order, and your unique tile is brought to life by our skilled artisans.
Financial Considerations
Each project is unique and so are the costs associated with it, but here are the basics of custom costs:
Custom Color Setup Fee: Starting at $750 for a minimum of 250 SqFt for our Aromas Factory and 1,500 SqFt for our Spokane Factory.
Handpainted Customization: From $500 for custom patterns, with per-piece pricing available.
Custom Cuts and Shapes: Depending on the complexity, tooling costs are determined after review, but we keep the designs as cost-effective as possible. 1,000 SqFt minimum for custom sizes, Aromas-made tile only.
Custom Mosaic Patterns & Murals: Design fees begin at $250 based on the complexity, and complex patterns start at $75/SqFt.
Our setup and design fees are integral to transforming your custom tile ideas into reality. These fees cover the meticulous process of reviewing and scaling your unique designs, creating and fine-tuning digital mock-ups, and the labor involved in producing and printing bespoke patterns. This thorough process ensures that every detail of your custom tile meets both our standards and your expectations, making every space distinctively yours.
