Fireclay Tile Architecture Scholarship for Black Women
Architecture Should Reflect the Society it Serves
But some groups are vastly underrepresented in the industry—which is why we've partnered with the Architects Foundation for a 5th year to sponsor a scholarship for Black women pursuing architecture.
This year, we’re aiming to raise $50,000. Fireclay has committed to donating $25,000, and we invite you to help us reach our goal to support the education of future architects!
Let's build a more inclusive world, together.
Every Donation Has Real-Life Impact
Over the past 4 years, we've raised an incredible $240,000+ with the generous support of our community. Each contribution to the scholarship goes directly toward the education of a future architect, and so far we've been able to help 12 women pursue their passion.
Donate today to help us reach our goal of $50,000 and support the education of two architecture students.
How Can We Dismantle Barriers to Entry Into the Profession?
The Architects Foundation has identified three major hurdles that some architects face on the path to licensure:
1) A lack of awareness of the profession at the K-12 level
2) A lack of belonging due to the current demographics of the industry
3) Particularly for Black women, disparities emerge regarding firm support for licensure, income gaps, and tuition debt
Together, we can work to change that.
The Architects Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) charitable organization, EIN #59-3819154.
