After 15 years of working as a licensed therapist, Anita Yokota felt it was time for a change. Today, the designer and author of the book Home Therapy empowers people to think meaningfully about their homes, and understand them as foundations of happy and successful lives.

Anita's Dust Storm Backsplash
Designer and therapist Anita Yokota wanted to transform her kitchen into a California cool gathering space that her family would want to linger in. Vertical 2x8 Tiles in Dust Storm did the trick with a desert palette backsplash that opens up her remodeled kitchen in dramatic fashion.
Anita's Cardamom Bathroom

Featured in Anita Yokota's book Home Therapy, a guide to support mental wellness at home through design and styling, this kitchen answered a family's call for a neat and organized home. A herringbone backsplash of White Mountains brick with noticeable color variation adds visual interest to this intentionally and meticulously planned space.
Serene Great Smoky & Calcite Primary Bathroom
Anita Yokota transformed this primary bathroom into a serene space thanks to a timeless blue and white color combination. Norman Glazed Thin Brick in soothing blue Great Smoky clads the shower walls, wainscoting around the soaking tub, and built-in niches, complemented by classic 6” Hexagon Tile across the floor with matching 3” Hexagons in the shower pan.
Modern Norman Brick Fireplace
Anita Yokota created a modern relaxing area with Fireclay Brick for her clients who desired more face time and less screen time. Accenting the fireplace with Norman Glazed Thin Brick in Joshua Tree and a floating mantel was just what this room needed.
