• Our tile is made at our Aromas, CA factory by our team of expert artisans. Many of our artisans have worked with us for over 20 years, and all team members are offered competitive salaries, opportunities for advancement, vacation, benefits, and ownership in Fireclay Tile.
• Each order is handmade for you, to your specifications. We never keep stock, yet we are able to deliver materials in 1-6 weeks depending on the product.
• Our tile is available in 100+ colors. Colors will range in price and available size and shape.
• You can choose from 50+ sizes in one of 300 possible patterns.
• Tile is made on either a recycled (red) clay body or a white clay body. Most ingredients are locally sourced within 200 miles and both clay bodies are 100% made by Fireclay.
• Tile is suitable for both interior and exterior applications (not suitable for freezing climates).
• Tile is suitable for walls, counters, and floors as well as wet surfaces, including showers, baths and swimming pools. Please note for pools our tile will only perform in warm environments and some of our glazes are acid sensitive therefore not recommended for pools. We do recommend sealing if installing tile in wet locations. We pre-seal our White Clay body at the factory.

How We're Sustainable by Design

• Our recycled (red) clay body is handmade of over 70% recycled content, including post-consumer waste up-cycled from curbside-recycled glass bottles, waste porcelain from toilets and bathtubs, and other manufacturer's pre-consumer waste, including granite dust and spent abrasives. We also re-use our own waste water and manufacturing scrap.
• All glaze materials are lead free. We were one of the first in the idustry to remove lead from all of our glazes.
• Our Northern California factories are day-lit, and most waste water and manufacturing waste is recycled back into our own production stream.
• We are scavengers and waste consumers. Through our manufacturing practices we are able to consume more waste than we produce.
• We offset the carbon pollution of our manufacturing operation through CarbonFund.org
• With its high recycled content and California based production our recycled Tile qualifies for many LEED credits.
