  • What is the Most Popular Color Tile?

White tile is historically the most popular color for tile and continues to be our best selling and most versatile color. We offer 13 colors of white ceramic tile in gloss, matte and satin finishes and an option with black patine.

  • What Color Tile is Best for Kitchens?

Choosing tile color is a personal decision and one our Design Consultants can help you make. For walls and floors, a neutral color is often preferred. On applications such as a backsplash or a single accent wall, tile in a more saturated color can make a bold statement.

  • What Color Tile is Best for Bathrooms?

White is the preferred color for bathrooms, providing a bright and clean look. Recently, the spa bathroom has become a popular design choice, calling for light blue or soft green tile to create a calming and relaxing environment. Reach out to our Design Consultants for help choosing.

  • What is Variation?

Due to the handcrafted nature of our tile, variations in color, texture, crazing, and finish will occur in different degrees depending on the specific glaze. Individual color variation is graded V1 (least) to V4 (most). See our Color Guide for a full list of glazes, variations, and finishes. Finishes are not interchangeable.

  • How to Choose Tile Color by Design Style

Use our Tile by Style guide to match your design style with the right tile color based on our expert recommendations.

  • Does Fireclay Offer Slip-Resistant Tile Colors?

With a DCOF value above .42, all of our matte glazes are rated for wet areas where slip resistance may be required.

Glazes with abrasive grit are available for certain flooring projects.
