House of Hamburger’s Lake Michigan cottage gets a taste of the desert with handmade tile from our Desert Collection. 2x2 Ceramic Mosaic Tile in Adobe punctuated by a border of Tusk adorns the floor as a pink trifecta of 1x6 Mosaic Sheeted Tile in Red Rock, Adobe, and Mesa surrounding the tub, with both surfaces accented by 1x6 in Tusk.
Step inside Dazey Den’s world of color. Dani Dazey’s signature whimsical design transformed her bathroom into a vintage-inspired haven with checkered 4x4 Ceramic Tile in soft pink Dawn and creamy Tusk across the floor, wall, and two arched niches that echo the design of the bold wallpaper.

With two stripes of 6x6 Ceramic Tile in Lemon Cream, designer Emily Vallely-Pertzborn injected some sporty spice into this otherwise green wall and shower clad with 6x6 Tile in Clover. A soft pink floor of 8x8 Tile in Dawn rounds out the retro vibes of the basement bathroom in Emily’s Foxcroft Estate rental.
So nice she did it twice! Racheal Jackson of Banyan Bridges said goodbye to the one-of-a-kind rainbow bathroom in her old house and recreated a similar rainbow patchwork look in her new 1970s fixer-upper with leftover 2x8 Ceramic Tile in Desert Bloom, Mandarin, Lichen, Ember, Mustard Seed, Aegean Sea, Lake Tahoe, Spruce Gloss, and Magnolia with Black Patine.

Designer Sam Ushiro of Aww Sam stayed true to her home’s original 1979 style with handpainted Harvest Tile in two custom colorways across the floor for a retro-modern patchwork effect, 4x4 Ceramic Tile in sunny Daffodil on the countertop, and Glass Tile in Egret Matte in the incredible sunken tub.
Built by mid-century architect William Krisel, this bold Palm Springs home designed by Danielle Nagel of Dazey LA amps up its retro roots with vibrant handmade floor tiles in orange and white. The best part? The Dazey Desert House is available to rent on AirBnB.
