City of Knowledge Islamic School is an Islamic K-12 school in Pomona, California established in 1994 by Iraqi immigrants who wanted to preserve Islamic customs among their youth. We were thrilled to partner with Loc Architects to create this custom mosaic that carries on the historic role of tile in Islamic art and architecture.

A blend of 3x6 Glass Tile in Magpie Gloss, Grackle Gloss, Warbler Gloss, and Great Blue Heron Gloss provides a multicolor border along the waterline, while 3x12 Glass Tile in Magpie Gloss frames in the spa and an accent wall of 6x12 Ceramic Tile and Chaine Homme Tile in Flagstone adds a sophisticated fountain feature (go behind the scenes of this pool design here!).

Keeping the exterior on the green side of Bryce’s chosen palette, designer Claire Thomas clad Bryce’s home with extra-long Norman Glazed Thin Brick in soothing Ozark that exudes easygoing California vibes, especially in this peaceful patio.

Transport yourself to a modern Moroccan oasis without leaving the backyard. This alluring in-ground swimming pool pairs Mini Star and Cross Tile with 2x2 Mosaic Ceramic Tile in blue-green Jade to create a refreshing retreat reminiscent of an exotic boutique hotel.

West Hollywood’s Pendry Hotel harkens back to cinema’s Golden Age with deco-inspired design for Wolfgang Puck’s Merois restaurant. Sitting opposite striking views of the Sunset Strip, a wall of custom green Glazed Thin Bricks with contrasting dark green columns make for an elegant dining experience and scenery at every angle.

Inspired by the terra cotta tiles found in Spanish Revival designs, our Star and Cross pattern gives this eye-catching patio floor an exotic flavor.
