City of Knowledge Islamic School is an Islamic K-12 school in Pomona, California established in 1994 by Iraqi immigrants who wanted to preserve Islamic customs among their youth. We were thrilled to partner with Loc Architects to create this custom mosaic that carries on the historic role of tile in Islamic art and architecture.

Classic and becoming this kitchen at Big Bear's Noble + Proper hits all the notes of a mountain getaway. Sara Simon of Handsome Salt designed the floor in a classic checkerboard pattern of 8x8 Ceramic Tile in rich Hunter Green and off-white Feldspar, expertly accompanied by the green kitchen accents throughout.
Celebrating Oakland’s rich history through materials, visual artist Binta Ayofemi and designer Anand Sheth collaborated to create a sense of joy in this Oakland event space, Commune Bar. Glazed Thin Brick in San Gabriel and Ozark with Corner Trim fit perfectly into the industrial vibe along the colorful bar.
Mokuyobi is known for its whimsical and colorful designs, so it’s no surprise that its flagship store is every bit as fun thanks to an immersive custom mosaic that greets patrons as they walk inside. 2x2 Mosaic Tile in Ember, Sorbet, Tuolumne Meadows, Lichen, Aegean Sea, and Daisy create colorful patterns and wayfinding signage alike in this nostalgic, one-of-a-kind design.
San Jose's Santana Row is looking better than ever since Dumpling Time opened up its Silicon Valley location. A combination of Fallow and Grange Tile from our Handpainted Agrarian Collection in a custom blue-green motif greets guests with a fun first impression at this casual dumpling spot.
LA Plaza Cocina is a Los Angeles museum that celebrates Mexican food, so it makes sense for them to have an open kitchen for demos and classes–complete with large comal and brightly-colored tile. The modern area is adorned with an eye-catching blend of 4” Triangle Tile in Tusk and custom green and red (for a similar look, try Spruce Gloss and Ember).
Salesforce shows up proper wherever they set up shop. This Mosaic "bit-art" design by artist Shinji Murakami showcases the Dallas night sky made up of 2x2 Ceramic Tiles to bring a sense of place to their cafe with a custom work of art that Salesforce buildings have become known for.

Complementing their modern ceramics, SIN chose modern 2x12 Glass Tile in Flycatcher Matte as a backsplash for their factory sink wall. Not only does Glass Tile add a subtle glow and sleek look, it’s also impervious to water and stains–making it a beautiful and practical choice for SIN Ceramic’s Brooklyn HQ.
If anyone can create the most iconic hotel that ever existed, it’s Trixie Mattel–every room in the Palm Springs-based Trixie Motel has its own unique take on a midcentury Barbie Dreamhouse aesthetic. In the incomparable Pink Flamingo Suite, the kitchenette features a backsplash of Handpainted Sensu Tile in a custom colorway of Evening Glow and Clover that emanates 60s glamour (with matching side tables to boot!).
Come to Philadelphia sports bar The Winston for the food and drinks, stay for the atmosphere featuring our handmade tile. Laid in a staircase, sideways herringbone pattern, an accent wall of 2x8 Ceramic Tile in glossy Evergreen adds a pop of geometric visual interest to this upscale space. Cheers!
