Designer and therapist Anita Yokota wanted to transform her kitchen into a California cool gathering space that family would want to linger in. Vertical 2x8 Tiles in Dust Storm did the trick with a desert palette backsplash that opens up her remodeled kitchen in dramatic fashion.

Designed by critically acclaimed painter Laura Owens, this monumental ceramic tile mosaic, titled I 🍕NY, features 80 iconic references that capture the spirit of NYC, including the Apollo Theater, the Stonewall Inn, a MetroCard, and of course, pizza.
