Take a journey under the sea in the family-friendly bathroom at the Mae House. Designer LaTonya Yvette chose vintage-inspired tile to blend into her colonial-style rental home, using 4x4 Ceramic Tile in Sea Glass along the walls and shower surround and a floor of 3" Hexagon Tile in Clover with playful accents of 3” Hexagon in Eucalyptus dotted throughout.
Expertly pairing dramatic floral wallpaper with scalloped Ogee Drop Tile in leafy green Kelp across the floor, this well-appointed bathroom is a maximalist’s dream come true.
Designed with an eye for detail, this contemporary bathroom is rich with timeless elements. Mini Star and Cross Tile in Antique covers the sunlit floor with a light-colored grout to accentuate the shapes and varying shades of brown.
This Scandinavian-style bathroom is heavy on the hygge thanks to a color block tile installation. 4x4 Ceramic Tile in White Wash and Oyster Shell from our Foundations Collection, plus Flagstone, clad the floor, wall, shower curb, and surround. A perforated shower stool by Los Angeles maker RAD and a pop of color from the Block Shop Textiles rug round the space out.
This Scandinavian-inspired rental home features sustainably made products from California makers Fireclay Tile and RAD Furniture throughout. A softly gridded backsplash of 3x3 Ceramic Tile in Daisy is complemented by Norman Brick in Saguaro laid in a double herringbone pattern across the floor of the kitchen, while the table and chairs by RAD keep the Scandi vibes going through the dining room.
Jean Stoffer saw the potential in her 1902 Greek Revival home the moment she laid eyes on it, and three years of renovating later her vision was complete when she transformed the final space: the North Porch. A checkerboard pattern of 6x6 Ceramic Tile in Iron Ore and Pyrite unfurls across the floor, complemented by a border of Handpainted Chicago Tile from our Metropolitan Collection with 1x6 and 3x9 Ceramic Tile in Basalt that creates a garden room every bit as captivating as Jean imagined it would be.
The Sill Founder Eliza Blank designed a pink tile bathroom with a modern edge in her barn-turned-retreat renovation, with plenty of room for indoor plants of course! The modern shower is perfectly pastel with two walls clad in 2x6 Ceramic Tile in Tumbleweed, while 2x6 and 4x8 Ceramic Tile in Tusk with a bullnose long edge trim provide warm coverage across the floor.
Romantic cottage vibes abound in this ensuite bathroom thanks to a pink tile floor that features two different tile shapes. 2x8 Ceramic Tile in Red Rock is bisected with a section of 3” Triangle Ceramic Tile in the same glaze color for a result that cleverly differentiates the walk-in shower and soaking tub zones in a downright delightful way.
Shavonda Gardner created the cottage bungalow kitchen of her dreams (and ours!) with exposed brick throughout. The showstopping floor is made from Glazed Thin Brick in Adirondack laid in a classic parquet pattern, while the backsplash of straight-set Glazed Thin Brick in Sierra Nevada balances out the space with a subtle contemporary touch.
Step inside this modern bathroom for a sense of spa. Specialty shape Picket in the soothing hues of Salton Sea runs across the floor and up the wall in a luxe Braided pattern that shows off the gorgeous color variation of this blue-green glaze.
Talk about a bathroom glow up! Designer Sam Ushiro of Aww Sam stayed true to her home’s original 1979 style with handpainted Harvest Tile in two custom colorways across the floor for a retro-modern patchwork effect, 4x4 Ceramic Tile in sunny Daffodil on the countertop, and Glass Tile in Egret Matte in the incredible sunken tub.
Designer Laura Gummerman has us tickled pink with this bathroom makeover. A tub surround of 2x12 Glass Tile in soft blush Rosy Finch makes bathtime a dream, while 3x12 Ceramic Tile in matte white Calcite adds subtle visual interest in a herringbone pattern across the floor.
Handmade Tile cultivates a spa-like vibe in this stunning primary bathroom remodel. Liz Stanley of the Say Yes blog paired walls of 2x6 Ceramic Tile in glossy green Oyster Shell with 3x6 Ceramic Tile and 3” Mosaic Triangles in clean White Wash on the floors to create a peaceful retreat.
Wildflowers bloom all year at this mountain getaway by Claire Thomas. The Hollyhock Cabin in the forest outside of Big Bear features a retro-inspired bathroom of blush-colored Hexagon tiles to create a floral motif that's like walking into spring.

This AirBnB-able cabin outside of Big Bear features a 1940's inspired kitchen with a plaid mosaic backsplash of 3x3 Ceramic Tile in Evening Glow, Kelp and Hunter Green and retro tile countertops that are roaring back into style.
Hewing to the traditional aesthetic of her 1880 Vermont home, Lauren Madden wanted timeless finishes that would appeal today and fifty years from now. Glazed Thin Brick in bright White Mountains does the trick, covering her laundry and bathroom floor with a surface and style to last a lifetime.
Come for the ornate sconces, but stay for the 3x3 checkerboard tile floor in Cardamom and Mist and a custom shower in matching 2x8 subway tiles. This Art Deco-inspired powder room designed by Claire Thomas for Harding House is truly one for the books.
A little rustic. A little post war. But still a little Victoria. To designer Victoria Ford of Prepford Wife, those were the guidelines going into this ensuite bathroom renovation. Ford found what she was looking for with a shower of 3x6 Subway Tile in Dusty Blue to match the bathroom’s wainscoting and 4” Hexagon Tile Basalt and Quick Ship Calcite for a classic high-contrast floor.
