Classic and becoming this kitchen at Big Bear's Noble + Proper hits all the notes of a mountain getaway. Sara Simon of Handsome Salt designed the floor in a classic checkerboard pattern of 8x8 Ceramic Tile in rich Hunter Green and off-white Feldspar, expertly accompanied by the green kitchen accents throughout.
Step inside this breathtaking bathroom awash in shades of green. Large Star and Cross Tile in dark Evergreen fills the floor with pattern while 2x6 Tile in neutral Oyster Shell from our budget-friendly Foundations Collection adds just a drop of green to the spacious shower.
Vintage earth tones abound in this bathroom design. Handmade ceramic Picket tile in olive green Peabody decorates the tub surround and vanity backsplash while Handpainted Starburst Tile in a Neutral Motif delivers an optically alluring accent across the floor.

This enchanting seafoam green shower is all about the details. 4x4 tile on the walls and mosaic 2" hexagons on the pan grace the room with rich color, but look closer and the expertly installed shower niches finished with glazed edge trim and the double radius bullnose curb trim pieces put this shower in a class of its own.
Handmade Star and Cross tile in soothing green Eucalyptus turns this floor into a work of art, with clean 3x12 transitions between the bathroom and entry room and hardwood border.
Mokuyobi is known for its whimsical and colorful designs, so it’s no surprise that its flagship store is every bit as fun thanks to an immersive custom mosaic that greets patrons as they walk inside. 2x2 Mosaic Tile in Ember, Sorbet, Tuolumne Meadows, Lichen, Aegean Sea, and Daisy create colorful patterns and wayfinding signage alike in this nostalgic, one-of-a-kind design.
Experience the pattern play of the Block Shop x Fireclay Tile Handpainted Collection in practice at Des Moine's stylish rental property Foxcroft Estate. Handpainted Dot Dash 1 Tile makes a bold black and white grid pattern across the shower with 3" Hexagons in Seaglass covering the floor with a tasteful hint of green. And kudos to the team at Foxcroft for preserving the original 1940s pink tile uncovered during the renovation!
With two stripes of 6x6 Ceramic Tile in Lemon Cream, designer Emily Vallely-Pertzborn injected some sporty spice into this otherwise green wall and shower clad with 6x6 Tile in Clover. A soft pink floor of 8x8 Tile in Dawn rounds out the retro vibes of the basement bathroom in Emily’s Foxcroft Estate rental.
For a tropical vacation in the heart of Iowa, look no further than Foxcroft Estate’s basement Tiki Bar! With a colorful floor of Scalene Triangle Tile in Desert Bloom and Palm Tree, the rattan bar, lush wallpaper, and wainscoting with built-in bench clad in 6x6 Ceramic Tile in Lemon Cream has us craving a Mai Tai.
Step inside a traditional bathroom with a pastel twist. Designer Kim Wolfe created an unconventional checkerboard floor thanks to Handpainted Squiggle Tile (from our collab with Block Shop Textiles!) in minty Plein Aire Motif, while 4x4 Ceramic Tile in Tumbleweed with 6x6 Cove Base Trim clads the wall as an attractive complementing wainscot.

Showing off its rippling color variation, sleek 2x8 Ceramic Tile in blue-green Salton Sea on the walls and 3x6 Ceramic Tile in the same soothing shade across the floor achieve an aquatic palette that fits perfectly with the elegant beach house.
Banner Day Interiors created a herringbone haven in Real Simple Home’s primary bathroom and closet. Laid in a timeless herringbone pattern, 2x8 Ceramic Tile in blue-green Flagstone wraps around the soaking tub in a handsome wainscot that continues along the floor all the way into the closet.
Emily Vallely created the Art Deco bathroom of her dreams thanks to handmade tile. Amalfi Coast always makes a splash. Surrounded by a collage of sea creature wallpaper, tidy 4x4 tiles in Amalfi Coast help turn this powder room into an ocean oasis with a fun pop of aquatic color across the floor.
With a clear vision of what–and who–she was nurturing a space for, LaTonya Yvette transformed her colonial-style home into a retreat that emphasizes Black joy and rest. In the welcoming kitchen she brought her checkerboard floor dreams to life with 12x12 Ceramic Tile in Feldspar and Red Rock, while a timeless backsplash of 4x4 Ceramic Tile in Hunter Green grounds the natural brightness in this thoughtfully appointed space.
Take a journey under the sea in the family-friendly bathroom at the Mae House. Designer LaTonya Yvette chose vintage-inspired tile to blend into her colonial-style rental home, using 4x4 Ceramic Tile in Sea Glass along the walls and shower surround and a floor of 3" Hexagon Tile in Clover with playful accents of 3” Hexagon in Eucalyptus dotted throughout.
