We’ll discuss your project scope, then have you send your control sample, Pantone or physical object for our lab to match.

Project Assessment & Quote

Our team reviews feasibility, then provides a comprehensive quote inclusive of the glaze development fee.

Secure Your Partnership

Once the quote is approved and development fee paid, our team will begin color matching.

Initial Glaze Development

Our lab crafts and fires test formulas on your chosen material, then ships the physical color samples directly for your review.

Sample Approval

Once a color is approved, we create a larger submittal sample (up to 1 SqFt) on the actual tile size for final sign-off.

Production & Delivery

Your custom-colored order is thoughtfully manufactured in our US facilities, then shipped with 100% carbon emissions offset.

Custom Color Pricing & Timeline

Development Cost

The initial Glaze Development Fee is $750, which covers the full resource commitment of our lab including up to 3 initial color matches with corresponding test formulas, plus 1 round of revisions and the final round of submittals (size samples).

Product Pricing & Minimums

Custom color incurs a product price increase; detailed pricing will be provided during your consultation. All custom color orders on Original Ceramic, Natural Press, Glazed Thin Brick, and Glass Tile require a 500 square foot minimum per color.

Timelines

The initial color development process takes approximately 2–4 weeks from fee payment to the lab sending out your test samples. Full production lead times will be provided during your consultation.

Jayde's Market

Los Angeles, CA

The Vision: Project M Plus sought to transform the concept of a local grocer into a curated, urban European market for the Beverly Glen community. The design needed to reflect the market's ethos of high-quality, fresh ingredients.

Our Collaboration: To achieve this, the design required a signature color that echoed the vibrancy of the market's produce. We partnered with Project M Plus to develop a custom Jayde's Green glaze, applied to 2x8 ceramic tile for a modern interpretation of classic English marketplaces.

The Legacy: The tile installed throughout the market serves as an enduring visual identity, demonstrating how a custom color can become a powerful, integrated element of a brand's comprehensive architectural and interior design.

La Fénix at 1950

San Francisco, CA

The Vision: David Baker Architects aimed to create an affordable housing project in San Francisco's Mission District. The design needed to honor the neighborhood's vibrant Chicano and Latino heritage.

Our Collaboration: We partnered with the team to custom-develop a highly specific, UV-stable glaze blend called Mexicali Rose to achieve the necessary vibrancy. We also created custom blue blends to express the building's diverse programming.

The Legacy: The custom-colored tile provides a durable, fine-grained texture that is contextual to the Mission's history of storefront tile. The vibrant, iconic color makes the building an immediate source of neighborhood pride and a powerful, enduring symbol of community stability.

Goop Test Kitchen

Santa Monica, CA

The Vision: MARCH founder Sam Hamilton was commissioned to design a test kitchen for Goop's new headquarters. The goal was to avoid a sterile commercial aesthetic, instead creating a space that felt homey, personal, and inviting.

Our Collaboration: The design was anchored by a custom-developed glaze color for the classic 4x8 subway tile. The rich, warm gray hue was directly inspired by the color and texture of the raw cement brick walls in the studio barn space, providing a versatile ground for the overall pastel color scheme.
