During our consultation, you’ll share your desired tile size, reference images, color choices, and project scope.

Project Assessment & Quote

Our team assesses feasibility and provides a comprehensive quote, including custom screen fees if applicable.

Order Confirmation

Quote approval and payment of the custom screen fee formally begins the design and artwork phase.

Design & Artwork

We create the digital artwork and color paint sheet for your sign-off before physical samples are made.

Sample Approval & Order

Your approved physical sample triggers the final order payment and moves your project into production.

Production & Delivery

Every tile is handpainted by our skilled artisans using time-honored techniques, then carefully packaged and shipped with 100% carbon emissions offset.

Custom Handpainted Pricing & Timeline

Development Cost & Minimums

A fee of $500 per screen covers custom artwork and two physical samples, with a 100 piece minimum per screen required. There is no minimum for a custom colorway using standard colors.

Product Pricing

Custom Handpainted Tile incurs an increase on the final product price due to the highly skilled artisan labor involved. Detailed pricing will be provided during your consultation.

Timelines

Digital artwork for a custom screen is typically created in 1–3 business days. Full production lead times will be provided during your consultation, once your final sample is approved.

Wildfether Distilling

Haddonfield, NJ

The Vision: The goal was to transform a 166-year-old Victorian residence into a beautiful craft distillery and cocktail lounge that would become an instant community landmark.

Our Collaboration: We customized our Handpainted Kasbah Trellis with a bespoke colorway designed to complement the building's history and define the lounge's inviting atmosphere.

The Legacy: The custom-colored Handpainted effortlessly blends with original features like the exposed brick fireplace and salvaged wood details, honoring history while embodying an energetic future.

Harding House

Los Angeles, CA

The Vision: The kitchen in this new luxury build, featuring soaring 14-foot ceilings, required a show-stopping tile moment inspired by historic Mexican architecture.

Our Collaboration: To achieve the scale and aesthetic, we worked with designer Claire Thomas to apply a custom colorway to our Handpainted Alameda pattern consistent with the home's greens, blues, black, and white theme.

The Legacy: The custom Handpainted backsplash serves as the centerpiece that anchors the expansive scale of this open-concept gathering space.

The Posada Inn

Tucson, AZ

The Vision: Designers Sara and Rich Combs sought to revive a historic, abandoned inn, immersing guests in the desert landscape.

Our Collaboration: We customized our Handpainted Avila and Vigo patterns with colorways inspired by the natural terra-cottas, dusty blues, and ochres found in the sand and stone of the surrounding landscape.
