Top 10 Commercial Projects of 2019
As we countdown to 2020, we're looking back on the best of 2019. With so many incredible commercial installations to choose from, it was no easy feat to pick just ten! It's been a year of Glazed Thin Brick, graphic patterns, rich colors, and a whole lot of beautiful design that we're so proud to be a part of. Without further ado, here's our top 10:
#10 - Dox X Ott Restaurant
Farm-to-table restaurant Dot x Ott keeps their space as fresh as their fare with a floor-to-ceiling White Mountains Brick wall.
#9 - Hoffler Place
Located in the heart of downtown Charleston, a Navy Blue Hexagon backsplash offers a seamless transition between indoors and outdoors in this luxury student housing complex's communal space and poolside bar.
#8 - The Commune
The Commune, an Austin-based co-working space, carves out a spot for creatives to refuel and recharge. Designed by Claire Zinnecker, this light and bright space will leave you feeling inspired whether you you're designing for your home or a commercial space.
#7 - Voyager Craft Coffee
Playing off the space's organic forms, sprinkles of blue and gray appear to float across this Santa Clara coffee bar's braided Picket Tile.
#6 - The Nomadic Hotel
Nestled in the western jungles of Nosara, Costa Rica, The Nomadic Hotel's wayfaring visitors are welcomed by a chic, open-air lobby highlighted by our Picket Braid Tile in Morning Thaw.
More fade-resistant than cement tile, The Nomadic's outdoor brick shower offers a durable design solution for Costa Rica's tropical climate.
#5 - Tartine Manufactury
Setting the stage for their iconic bakes and more, an expansive backsplash of triangle tiles and white brick welcome patrons of the bustling Tartine Manufactory.

#4 - Jeune et Jolie Restaurant
Simplicity makes a statement. Wrapped from counter to ceiling in fresh white thin Brick, Jeune et Jolie restaurant's expansive backsplash offers a timelessly on-trend backdrop for its eclectic decor.
#3 - Detroit Prep
With a little help from our Non-Slip Glazes and Foundations Collection, Detroit Prep will have durable, beautiful tile that its current and future students will enjoy for years to come. We'll share more of this incredible project (and all of the tile) in 2020!

Boutique fitness space Body Evolved designed by Antonio Matres Studio uses a soothing yet stimulating blend of Bora Bora tile to create a blissful bathroom for members looking for a relaxing escape.

Thoughtfully layered textures like light wood finishes and rustic glazed thin Brick lend Verve Coffee Roasters an earthy yet ever-so-airy atmosphere. Plus, we love that pop of blue!
