New Year New Tile Colors

It's a new year and we have 7 new tile colors! To celebrate, we're doing a giveaway on our Instagram this week. We'll be featuring a color a day and you could win $500 of tile! To be eligible you must follow us, re-post the photo of your favorite color (you'll have until this Sunday to decide which one you love the most) with the hashtag #newyearnewtile and share where you'd like to install the tile, which shape, pattern, etc. We'll be picking a winner on February 1st!

These seven sea-inspired hues range from subtle greens to bold, saturated blues. All seven of the colors are Engobe glazes, meaning that we put a white primer on our recycled clay body and then the color glaze on top. This technique creates a beautiful watercolor effect, along with a crackly finish. We're sharing all 7 colors, along with design inspiration below.

1. Adriatic Sea
A deep sea blue, Adriatic Sea conjures images of the Italian coastline. With its textured crackly finish and beautiful variation, it's a color that is easy to love.

We think this color will look great just about anywhere, but we think it would be especially nice in a bathroom setting like the one below:

2. Azul
Inspired by the Mediterranean, this bold blue is really something. While Azul may have a Spanish-style feel, we think this shade of blue would compliment any space.

3. Aegean Sea
This cool, bright blue has us dreaming of a day at the beach. You can really see the Engobe effect at work in Aegean Sea, the white primer underneath really makes that blue pop.

4. Bora Bora
With its beautiful variation and its emerald, tropical green color, Bora Bora can make any space feel like a retreat.

5. Naples Blue
A color you want to dive into, the turquoise hue of Naples Blue pays homage to the ancient coastal city and its colorful charms.

6. Glacier Bay
An alluring light blue hue, Glacier Bay has the capacity to add a breath of fresh air to any space.

Glacier Bay definitely has a calming affect, so it is well suited for a bathroom application like the one below. Try this color in 3x3 or 4x4 squares in an offset pattern for a look like this.

7. Salton Sea
This color conjures images of crystalline water gliding over sandy beaches....The perfect, subtle shade of green, Salton Sea is ideal for those of us who just want a bit of color.
