“Happiness comes when your work and words are of benefit to yourself and others” - Buddha
Ever since I was a young girl, I have had a passion for art and design, especially interior design. I was always found rearranging my personal space and finding new ways to decorate and have a fresh perspective. I went to UC Santa Cruz to receive my BA in History of Art and Visual Culture, which allowed me to discover many different art movements and architectural elements that have become influences in my own designs. Once I realized my dreams of designing didn’t have to just be a ‘hobby’, I then moved to San Francisco to study Interior Design at F.I.D.M and became increasingly interested in textiles and surface materials, especially tile. I started my professional career at a tile showroom in SF, which greatly contributed to my awareness for the design and installation process, and above all–highly valuing personal connections and collaborating with customers to create long-lasting and unique designs. I recognize that our environments have a direct impact on our personal success and well-being, and I aspire to aid in improving people’s lives by doing what I love most in life… one kitchen at a time!
My Favorite Fireclay Products...
I love introducing our Picket pattern in soft crystalline glazes inspired by geodes and ethereal color palettes (such as a blend of Tusk, Gardenia, Oyster Shell, Moonshine, and French Linen). This color palette combined with the gem-like shape of the Picket can help provide a tranquil living environment in a modern world. Willow glazed on our recycled thin Brick is also one of my favorites and a beautiful way to introduce a rustic-chic aesthetic to make your kitchen or bath environment more serene. Lastly, I’ll take any excuse to use our glass tile in our Diamond 2 x 4 Escher pattern! Especially in Thistle. It has a lovely variation of light grey and soft rose purple hues, which I find incredibly soothing.
I would say my style is a balanced blend of Modern with Rustic and Bohemian influences. I love the use of fun patterns and shapes in neutral color palettes and combining nature within modern designs for a bit of feng shui. While I tend to gravitate towards a subtle and calming environment, I can’t resist a fabulous accent wall or pop of color either. My education and professional experiences assisting hundreds of people all over the U.S. with their residential projects has given me the chance to design in many different styles. As a design advisor, I make sure to pay close attention to customer’s needs and listen to what they ultimately desire, splashing my own hue into others' lives and adding personal touches to their designs.

I love the organic movement of the Paseo pattern juxtaposed to the modern kitchen design with otherwise rectangular and geometric shapes. The use of shapes and patterns do not necessarily have to be a scary step for a homeowner to make, especially if used in a neutral palette, or White Gloss as seen in this installation.
The project below is a great example of how tile does not have to be confined to just the kitchen or bathroom. Instead, this proves it can also be the perfect accent wall in a living room or bedroom to add some interest to your home! The designer and installer of this project did such a fabulous job using this beautiful blend of Turquoise, Rainy Day, and White Wash in our Chaine Homme pattern.
Our Handpainted Kabuki Sphere can add a bit of Moroccan flair to any modern kitchen. It is a great example of how dark colors do not necessarily dampen your environment. I am in love with the continuous pattern of this particular color motif, and the 6 x 12 format makes this desired look a relatively easy installation as well!
