A bit about me...
My mom was always amazing at designing our apartment when I was little. We would get compliments all the time. At the time, there were shows about architecture but not too much about Interior Design, and I'd tune in. Growing up and now raising children in an urban city, I fell in love with street art, fashion, culture, and how these transcend into the world of interior design. My personal design style is a product of falling in love with who I am (as a black woman), and all the beauty I've absorbed in my journey but also thriving to experience all the beauty of the world in person.

My Style is...My design style is modern, global and bohemian. I like modern design and texture, especially when it's bold and well thought out. For me, it's all about the feeling. I prefer my spaces to invite me in, be cozy and warm with a lot of natural elements and color.

My favorite tiles are...

Star and Cross in Boundary Waters--I really fell in love with the Large Star and Cross in our deep jewel tones. Every install reminds me of a global retreat, right here in the city. I feel like it transcends across various design styles too.
Please note: We reconfigured our glaze Prussian Blue and it is now called Boundary Waters.

6" Hexagon in Basalt--Our matte black tile, Basalt just gets me every time. I feel like it creates drama, but can be done really tasteful and high end.

Marrakech Lace in Neutral Motif--Another personal favorite is our global-inspired and geometric handpainted patterns from the Moroccan Collection, especially Marrakech Lace (I also love the Agrarian Collection).

Guilty pleasure: I often play around with the Color-It Tool just to see what I can come up with. It's usually anything that invokes a certain feeling of being captivated by the lines, texture and color patterns.

My favorite Fireclay Projects...
SF Decorators Showcase Master Bath--I'm such a plant person, so styling in green just feels really alive to me. This bathroom feels refreshing, bold, and intentional all at the same time. I love the lines and curves.

Bright Honeycomb Tile Kitchen--The 6" sized hexagon is often overlooked as a backsplash option. The honeycomb-like tile combined with the two-toned cabinetry and the wood elements really bring the nature in, and I'm all about that. Also, the daffodil glaze is perfect.

Starry Bathroom--This bathroom is the cultural experience I always look for. The custom handpainted Starburst tile pattern and the Star and Cross shape on the walls really compliment each other. The wall tile is in Tusk which is a warmer white, which feels welcoming and soft for me.

The handpainted tile used as the shower curb is proof that everything was thought of.

Also, stopping the tile at wainscot height makes it really timeless.
