Celebrating a Decade of Growth and Welcoming New Beginnings at Fireclay Tile

In the field of design, changes always mark moments of reflection, celebration, and anticipation. At Fireclay Tile, we're embracing such a moment as we bid a heartfelt thank you to Greg Colando for a remarkable decade of service on our Board of Directors and warmly welcome Allison O'Connor to our team.

Greg joined our board in 2015, bringing with him a trove of experience from his days of founding Interface’s FLOR division and his tenure in various leadership roles at Interface. Under his guidance, we honed our sales philosophy and pushed the boundaries of product development and marketing.

Reflecting on his journey, Greg shared, "Being a part of Fireclay Tile's journey has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my career. I've seen this company grow and evolve, always staying true to its core values. While I'm stepping down from the board to pursue new challenges, I know Fireclay's future is bright, especially with Allison coming on board. Her passion is unmistakable, and I have no doubt she will help propel Fireclay to even greater heights."

Allison O'Connor joins our Board with a robust product and design background as a CEO, Board Member, and an acclaimed People-First Brand Leader. Known as a Top Woman in Retail and a staunch advocate for mental health through initiatives like R U OK Day in the USA, her leadership is characterized by a heartfelt commitment to excellence in design and the wellbeing of her team. Allison most recently served as President and CEO at Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams, and before that spent time leading teams at Sheridan AU, Williams Sonoma, and Urban Outfitters.

Greg was a larger-than-life figure when he joined the board and the founder of a brand that Fireclay had dreams of one day mirroring. For the past ten years, he's been a true mentor for our brand and we will be eternally thankful for his dedication and commitment.

Greg's departure creates an exciting opportunity to welcome Allison, a leader with deep industry experience building and growing organizations with a focus on the residential trade client. Her vision for transformative, purpose-driven business aligns perfectly with our future goals.
