5 Bathroom Trends We Love

Tile shown: Ogee Drop in Tusk, Rainy Day, and Mint

Bathrooms are the place to have some fun. Whether you prefer a classic subway tile or a lively pattern, the bathroom provides you with a small, contained space perfect for letting your creativity go a little wild. We know there are endless options to choose from, so to help you decide which bathrooms style best matches your unique personality, we put together a list of our 5 favorite bathroom trends that we think you'll love just as much as we do.

1.) Playful Pattern

We LOVE pattern in the bathroom, ok we love pattern everywhere, but especially in the bathroom! Whether it is on the floor, or on the wall, pattern makes an unforgettable statement and adds dimension and visual interest to your space. Try covering your floor in a fun Moroccan pattern with a mix of hues the way the bathroom above has done with our Ogee Drop shape. If bold pattern makes you a little nervous go the more subtle route with one single pattern such as our Hexagon in one solid color.

2.) Colorful Classic

A classic 3x6 offset subway layout will always be both on trend and timeless, and pairs well with just about any style. We suggest getting a little creative with your subway tile and opting for a vibrant, saturated hue rather than a neutral. Because the a bathroom is sectioned off from the rest of your home, it is the perfect opportunity to be bold with color. We love how this contemporary bathroom adds a splash of green tile to offset the white decor.

3.) Naturally Neutral

Bright colors always catch our attention, but we know how important neutrals can be too. If your bathroom serves as a place for you to escape and catch a little relaxation time to yourself, we suggest opting for a warm, natural neutral hue such as an off white, or an understated gray. Neutrals also allow you to experiment with pattern and size for without overwhelming the space.

4.) Eclectic Glass

Whether you prefer rounds, squares, rectangles, hexagons, bright colors or subtle neutrals, a glass mosaic in your bathroom will create an instant focal point. Not to mention Glass provides a translucent quality to you space, reflecting light, and making your bathroom feel larger and more open than it really is.

5.) Subtle Pastels

Similar to neutrals, soft pastels in the bathroom create a sense of calm and tranquility, while providing just a hint of color to keep your design from falling flat. You can choose a single pastel, or play with a combination of hues. We love how the bathroom below creates a monochromatic look with varying shades of green in a variety of shapes and sizes.
