Since inception Fireclay Tile has taken an active role in supporting our community. Whether it has been through product donations, ceramic teaching programs, or factory tours for students, Fireclay has always been there to provide community services and give back when possible. Some of our favorite moments include:
Building History in Aromas, One Tile at a Time
Fireclay Tile donated materials to Aromas School students to help bring their town’s history to life through a creative tile mural at the school. 21 students and a professor came together, researched their town, and designed and painted a beautiful mural using our Debris Series Recycled tile. More on this great initiative can be read here.
Green Cadre (Work2Future) Visits Fireclay Tile
San Jose’s Work2Future program’s Green Cadre visited Fireclay Tile to learn about Green Jobs and sustainably focused companies.
Cora Project (July 2009)
Fireclay Tile’s Debris Series (bathroom tile) and BottleStone (Cobalt) were recently donated to the BRAND NEW for the Cora Project in the Bay Area. We were so proud to be asked to participate in the wonderful CORA Safehouse and can’t wait to see the new house in its debut in August 2009. The CORA house was designed by Kit Golson.
