Chartreuse is not a color for the faint of heart.  Appropriately named after its resemblance to the green tinged French liqueur made by the Carthusian Monks, this yellowish-green hue is bold, its bright, and it demands attention.  So how do you make chartreuse stand out without feeling outlandish?  Try pairing the bright hue with a muted neutral color palate.  One of our favorite combinations is Chartreuse and a smokey charcoal gray such as our color, Cyclone.
